A Wasteland Works studio

Pip Tech

Pip Tech is our game development and hardware modification studio: where fictional technology, custom electronics and original interactive worlds are turned into working systems.

Two disciplines, one workshop

Games and machines built together.

Game studio

We develop original games, playable prototypes, world-building tools, characters and interactive systems. Our current flagship project is the post-apocalyptic RPG Cascade Failure.

Hardware modification

We rebuild, modify and reinterpret real hardware—from handheld computers and wearable interfaces to experimental controllers, displays and one-off workshop machines.

PIP Core

PIP Core is our custom game engine and authoring technology. It grew from a bare-metal Mac prototype into the technical foundation powering Cascade Failure.

Currently in development

Cascade Failure

Humanity’s networked energy system was supposed to end the final fuel crisis. Instead, one missing reactor began a sequence of failures that crossed cities and borders faster than anyone could understand.

Follow the public development archive, from the first playable room to characters, powered armour, world-building tools and the evolving PIP Core engine.

Part of Wasteland Works

Pip Tech operates within Wasteland Works, sharing the same practical approach: build it, test it, break it, learn from it and make the next version better.

Projects shown publicly may be experimental or in active development. Specifications, designs and release plans can change as the work progresses.
